What to expect at your session...
BOUDOIR. I get it. It's scary. Getting scantily clad in front of a lady you probably don't know. And she's gonna take your picture. And you have to look sexy.
I know what you're thinking, "I don't know how to look sexy when someone else is taking my photo!" The good news? You don't have to worry about that. Not one bit. I'm a professional and will tell you how to do all the things. ALL OF THEM. I'll even show you what I mean by acting out movements and poses for you. And then after I take a handful of photos I'll show you a few unedited photos on the back of my camera just to show you what I see from my side of the lens.
...And I promise you, you won't believe your eyes.

All of these chapters in life deserve to be documented, to be shared, to fill the frames throughout your home. Your stories deserve to be told. I can't tell you how often I hear "I'm not ready yet" or "I just need a few more months to feel ready." Let me tell you - DIVE IN. DO IT. Do it for yourself NOW, and then do it for yourself again LATER when you feel even more "ready."
After photographing dozens of women, I finally did my first boudoir session for my husband two years ago. I felt nowhere near ready. I was (read: am) still carrying some baby weight, my stretch marks still fresh in places, my c-section scar still feeling new (read: it wasn't). I was terrified to be on the other side of the camera. You know what happened? I bit the bullet and did it. I placed trust in my photographer, followed her instructions, and went for it. By the end of the session I felt AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. CONFIDENT. BEAUTIFUL. All the things I wanted my husband to see, I FELT. I walked out of there on a cloud. My experience was no longer a gift for my husband, but the ultimate gift for MYSELF.
Many of my clients have done boudoir as a wedding gift for their significant other, anniversary or holiday gift... and some of my clients have simply done a boudoir session for themselves. DO THIS FOR YOURSELF.
About the chick that's gonna photograph you...
I am a wife, mama to two sweet munchkins, and friend to many. And I love a good bottle of red wine. :) If you were a fly on the wall on a weekday night you’d likely see me having dance parties in my living room with my five year old son and two year old daughter, all while nursing a glass of wine and cooking a semi-gourmet dinner. If I am not shooting a wedding or portraits on the weekend - you'd probably see my family and I juggling t-ball and co-ed softball game schedules, going on fishing/hiking/camping adventures, exploring local farmers markets, organizing neighborhood block parties, and sampling lots of beer and wine. Lots of beer and wine.
Photography started as a hobby for me nine years ago and over time it has turned into my business. One of my favorite things about my job is the relationships that I am able to create with my clients. I’ve seen people through some pretty incredible milestones – love, marriage, pregnancy/babies, and so much more. Part of why I have fallen in love with boudoir photography is that it has shown me how strong women are. EVERY woman is beautiful.
Many of my clients have become friends to the point of coffee "life update" dates and exchanging annual holiday cards. I absolutely love my job!!!

I had such a positive experience with my session. Eva was friendly and responsive before I even met her, and I felt immediately comfortable with her as soon as I arrived for our boudoir session at the hotel. There were snacks, drinks, and music! She was well-organized, very friendly, and made me feel comfortable and beautiful even having just met her and being in such an intimate setting. I appreciated her personality and skill that made the session fun and allowed for the best possible end product. The editing she included in the final pictures was incredibly flattering but didn't make me look fake or airbrushed over.

It was AMAZING! Eva picked a really urban chic studio to shoot which totally set the tone for my boudoir session. She also brought some Processco and a very calming energy to what could have been an awkward experience. Eva does a wonderful job relating to her client and making them feel incredibly beautiful and special. She was open to my ideas but also had many of her own. I walked away from my hour session feeling giddy with excitement and confident that I would be obsessed with the final photos. Eva and her work does NOT disappoint!!

Thank you SO much - I just took a look through the gallery and they are incredible! I have never been someone who loves to look at photos of myself, but you did such a beautiful job finding the most complementary angles, lighting, etc. that I am going to have a hard time narrowing down which ones make it to the book! (And my fear was not having enough for a book!)
